Day 1: Kathmandu to Bhalche (1,850m/6105Ft.), 7 to 8 hours driving 

Departing from Kathmandu at 7:00 AM, you’ll head to Bhalche Village, a Tamang settlement near Ruby Valley. The 7-8 hour minibus drive, mainly off-road, offers good conditions up to Trisuli Bazaar, followed by a challenging 2-3 hour dirt and winding path. Enjoy the journey’s lush paddy terraces and scenic vistas. Overnight in a local house or tent for an authentic village experience.

 

Day 2: Trek to Gonaga and Rupchet (3,250m/10725Ft), 6 hrs walking 

After enjoying breakfast, you will set off on an uphill trek, offering magnificent views overlooking Bhalche Village. The trail takes you through a high tropical jungle, where mesmerizing vistas and enchanting landscapes unfold around you. Upon reaching Gonga, situated at an altitude of 2,850 meters (9,340 feet), you will pause for lunch. The journey then continues towards Rupchet, a stunning campsite known for its breathtaking panoramic views of the hillside and the encompassing natural beauty.

 

Day 3:  Trek to Singla Pass (4,250m/13,940ft,) and Chalish Village (1,750m/5,740ft), 7 to 8 hours

Start your morning with a breathtaking sunrise view and breakfast, then trek for about an hour to Singla Pass (4,250m/13,940ft). This is the Frist pass of Ganesh Himal 3 Passes Trekking. Enjoy the stunning views of Ganesh Himal, the Mt. Manaslu ranges, and the Langtang ranges, all overlooking the Ruby Valley. Next, descend to the diverse Sertung Village (1,850m/6,068ft), a blend of Tamang, Ghale, and Newar cultures. Continue to Chalish Village, inhabited by the Gurung and Dalit communities, where you’ll have lunch. Spend the night in a local house or tent.

 

Day 4: Trek to Tatopani (1,550m/5,084ft.)  to Neber Village (2,850m/9,348ft.), 5 to 6 hours walking

After breakfast, embark on a 2-hour trek to Tatopani, known for its Natural Hot Springs. Spend the morning relaxing in the hot water baths. After lunch, continue your trek to Neber Village, a quaint Tamang settlement at 2,850m. Your overnight stay will be in a local house or tent.

 

Day 5: Trek to Rachyat Village (1,850m/6.068ft.) via Temla Pass (3,250m/10,660ft), 6 to 7 hours
walking 

After breakfast, embark on a 2-3 hour trek to reach Temla Pass (3,250m). This is the second pass, of the trekking.  Offering 270-degree mountain views and stunning vistas of Ruby Valley. Enjoy lunch at the summit, then descend for about 3 hours to Rachyat Village on a narrow, steep trail, commonly used by local cattle. Overnight stay will be in a local house or tent. Follow your guide closely for safety.

 

Day 6: Trek to Khading Village (2,020m/6,625ft.), 6 to 7 hours walking

After breakfast, cross a suspension bridge and arrive at Lapchyat village. Following lunch, trek through Kpuchet to reach Khading Village after a 6-7 hour walk. This village, a blend of Gurung, Dalit, and Tamang communities, is known as one of the largest Gurung villages in the area. Overnight stay will be in a lodge or tent.

Day 7:  Trek to Mangne Pass (2,853m/9,357ft.)  and  Dhunchet Village (1,550m/5,084ft), 8 to 9 hours
walking 

After breakfast, today’s journey takes you mostly through the dense jungle of Mangne Pass. Offering an excellent experience of the area’s rich flora and fauna. The walk, characterized by its ups and downs amidst incredible landscapes, culminates at Dhunchet village. Overnight stay is arranged in a tent or a local house.

 

Day 8: Drive back to Kathmandu (1,310m/4,296ft), 7 to 8 hours driving 

Eventually enjoy breakfast at the same location. So, taking a 7-8 hour drive back to Kathmandu in a regular local bus passing through Dhading Besi. The journey involves some dirt roads but the majority of the drive on Prithvi Highway offers a fun as well as memorable experience. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, your journey concludes.
