    Ruby Valley Cultural Trekking 7 Day Itinerary

     

    Day 1: Kathmandu to Dhading Besi (612m)- Borang Village (1,550m), 10 to 11 hours driving

    At 7:00AM drive by regular sharing bus to Dhading Besi (3 hours driving) through Prithvi highway and once you reach at Dhading Besi change another bus and by regular sharing local Jeep drive to Borang Village (5 hours divining). Furthermore, passing through different villages, paddy terraces, Katunje, Lapang Phedi and Darkha as well as Jharlang village of Sankodh Tipling Daman Pakhrin highway. Over night at Local House or homestay.

    Day 2: Borang Village (1,550m) – Chalish Village (1,750m), 4-5 hours walking

    Take breakfast at the same village and then trek to Sertung Village (2020m) which is one of the biggest Tamang and Ghale as well as Ghale village. Take lunch, look around the Sertung village i.e. Ghale Durbar, Khaten Gompa, Phyanchyat village, Chyamra Danda as well as Pangam Gompa finally trek down to Chalish Village. Gurung Village and Dalit village of the area and its one of the most charming village for the trekkers. Over night at Local house or home stay.

     

    Day 3: Trek to Tatopani (1,550m/5,084ft.) – Neber Village (2,850m/9,348ft.), 5-6 hours walking

    After breakfast, embark on a 2-hour trek to Tatopani, known for its Natural Hot Springs. Spend the morning relaxing in the hot water baths. After lunch, continue your trek to Neber Village, a quaint Tamang settlement at 2,850m. Your overnight stay will be in a local house or homestay.

     

    Day 4: Trek to Rachyat Village (1,850m/6.068ft.) via Temla Pass (3,250m/10,660ft), 6-7 hours walking 

    After breakfast, embark on a 2-3 hour trek to reach Temla Pass (3,250m). Offering 270-degree mountain views and stunning vistas of Ruby Valley. Enjoy lunch at the summit, then descend for about 3 hours to Rachyat Village on a narrow, steep trail, commonly used by local cattle. Overnight stay will be in a local house or tent. Follow your guide closely for safety. Over night at homestay.

     

    Day 5: Trek to Khading Village (2,020m/6,625ft.), 6-7 hours walking

    After breakfast, cross a suspension bridge and arrive at Lapchyat village. Following lunch, trek through Kpuchet to reach Khading Village after a 6-7 hour walk. This village, a blend of Gurung, Dalit, and Tamang communities, is known as one of the largest Gurung villages in the area. Overnight stay will be at homestay.

    Day 6: Trek to Borang Village (1,550m/5,084ft) via Lapa Village (1,750m/5,740ft), 6-7 hours walking 

    Enjoy breakfast at the same location before setting off on your trek to Lapa Village, renowned as one of the largest Tamang, Ghale, and Dalit villages in the area. Spend some time exploring the village, then have lunch. Afterward, embark on a 2-3 hour downhill trek followed by about an hour of uphill walking to reach Borang Village. Your overnight stay will be arranged at a homestay.

     

    Day 7: Drive back to Dhading Besi and Kathmandu (1.310m/4,297ft.), 10 to 11 hours driving 

    Have breakfast and then, at 7:00 AM, depart for Dhading Besi, the district headquarters of Dhading District. Upon arrival at Dhading Besi, switch to another bus for the return journey to Kathmandu by regular public transport.
