Paldor Peak Climbing Itinerary

Day 01:
Kathmandu (1,310m/4.296ft) – Syabru Besi (1,902m/6,238ft), 8 hours driving by regular public Bus. Over night at Lodge.

02:
Trek to Gatlang Village (2,238m/7,341ft), 5-6 hours walking. Over night at Lodge.

Day 03:
Trek to Somdang Village (3,250m/10.660ft). 6-7 hours walking. Over night at Lodge.

Day 04:
REST DAY at the same place for acclimatization but today you visit with your guide and crew members to Pangsang Pass (3,850m/12.628ft), the best view point to observe closely Ruby Valley Area of Tipling, Sertung and Lapa villages. You take a look almost 270 degree mountain views of Ganesh Himal ranges, Mount Manaslu ranges and Langtang ranges. Singla Pass (4.250m/13,940ft) is just a stone throw view. Return back to the same place and rest of the day leisure. 4-5 hours day trip. Over night at Lodge.

Day 05:
Trek to Paldor Peak Base Camp (4,250m/13,940ft). 7-8 hours walking. Having Lunc at Paikutang (3,850m/12,628ft)- Jasta Khani(Zinc Mine). Over night at in Tent.

 

Continues your itinerary

 

Day 06:
Trek to High Camp (4,750m/15,580ft). 3-4 hours walking and rest of the day preparation for Paldor peak climbing/Expedition. Over night in Tent.

Day 07:
Early morning (3:00AM) you start your push summit and finally you expect to get at the top of Paldor Peak (5,903m/19,952ft) in the morning at 9:00AM then return back to Base Camp. Over night in Tent.

Day 08:
An extra/Contingency Day/Additional Day just in case of any technical issues (bed weather, group member/s needed rest etc…). Over night at Hight Camp, tent.

Day 09:
Trek to Somdang Village (6-7 hours walking). Over night at Lodge.

Day 10:
Trek to Gatlang Village (5-6 hours walking). Over night at Lodge.

Day 11:
Trek to Syabru Besi (4-5 hours walking). Over night at Lodge.

Day 12:
At 7:00AM, drive back to Kathmandu by regular sharing bus (7-8 hours driving). Over night at hotel in own expenses.

Note:
– Road has reached all the way up to Somdang Village in these days so if anyone has not enough time then you simply hire a private Landcruiser (Jeep) and drive from Kathmandu to Somdang and vice versa. In this case, you will save 4 days which means it will be total only 8 days Expedition. We included you to talk from Syabru Besi for your acclimatization however if you want to shorten your walking then at least from Somdang village to Kathmandu you can drive back (12 hours) instead. Please remember that it is rough and tough road driving however its doable.
